Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive Delhi. Meeting, assistance and transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for half day guided tour of New Delhi. The buildings designed by Edward Lutyens, architect of modern Delhi - are truly majestic. The Presidential Palace, Parliament House and India Gate are all reminiscent of the British “Raj”. We drive through Delhi’s beautiful tree-lined avenues and the Diplomatic Enclave en route to the 12th century, 234-foot high fluted minaret of Qutab Minar. Next visit Lotus Temple and finish your tour visiting Haumayun's tomb before returning to hotel for Overnight

Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur

Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur - an exuberance of color, dance & song with traditional arts and crafts. Known, as the 'Pink City' is one of India's most well planned cities with wide straight avenues, roads, streets and lanes in a grid system. A 5.5 hours ride gets us to this land of Maharaja's, forts & Palaces and diversity of colors & culture that is unique to the State of Rajasthan. (Breakfast on board) On arrival, meeting, assistance and transfer to hotel.

Afternoon guided sightseeing tour of the city palace, palace museum, the Jai Singh's observatory, Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds) & Albert hall museum. Return to hotel via Johari Bazaar (Gem Market) & Curio shops. A great place to hunt for bargains. Evening free. Overnight in hotel

Day 3: At Jaipur

After breakfast, proceed for full day guided excursion to see three of the most impressive forts of Rajasthan. Visit the impressive Amber Fort the former capital of the Royal Family of Jaipur, taking an elephant ride to the top of the fort. Next visit Jaigarh & Nahargarh Fort. Jaigarh built in 1726, has the worlds largest cannon on wheels, while Nahargarh built in 1734 provides a panoramic view of the Jaipur city. Late afternoon return to hotel via Ram Niwas Garden. Balance day free. Overnight in hotel

Day 4: Jaipur - Nawalgarh

After breakfast leave by surface for Nawalgarh en- route Sight-seeing of Samode Palace (A magnificent Fort Palace of 16th Century still reflect the charm of Royal life-style feudal of Samode) in Samode Village. Continue drive to Nawalgarh in the Shekhawati region. On arrival check into hotel Afternoon City sightseeing tour of Frescoes Grand Patrician (Havelis) of Nawalgarh. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 5: Nawalgarh - Mandawa

After breakfast, free to explore the surroundings. Later drive to Mandawa, ideal location to revisit Rajasthan's rich heritage and culture. On arrival, check in into castle hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the surroundings of Mandawa Castle. A treasure trove of priceless artifacts & paintings. Overnight at hotel

Day 6: Mandawa - Bikaner

After breakfast leave for Bikaner - the foundation city of the famous Camel Corps. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon, visit the old Junagadh fort built by Raja Rai Singh the 6th ruler of the state of Bikaner in 1589 AD. See the architectural marvel, intricate carvings on red stone, some of the finest collection of armory, gold & lacquer workman- ship on glass, before continuing your tour to Bhand Sagar Temple – the 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, followed by a visit to the Camel Breeding Farm – a unique experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel’s milk. Next visit the Ganga Golden Jubilee museum,where you get to view an impressive and a large collection of sculptures dating back from the Gupta (4th century AD) & the Kushan (1st century AD) period, before returning to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Bikaner – Jaisalmer

After breakfast, visit Deshnok Temple. The 600-year-old temple is dedicated to Karni Mata, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple has huge intricately carved silver gates donated by Maharaja Ganga Singh. The temple plays host to thousands of rats that form the major attraction here. The rats are considered sacred and worshiped accordingly. You have to be very careful while entering the inner sanctum, because it is believed that if you accidentally step on a rat, a gold replica has to be made to compensate for the lost life. This is also known as the rat temple.

Afternoon depart by surface for Jaisalmer En-route visiting Gajner Palace or the Shikar Mahal (Hunting Lodge of Maharaja of Bikaner) by the side of a lake which houses a considerable collection of antique furniture’s, wall hangings, paintings and carpets, besides a beautiful rose garden. Today it is a wild life sanctuary where you can sight the Black buck, Chinkara & the Neelgai. Later on arrival in check into hotel for overnight

Day 8: At Jaisalmer

After breakfast, proceed for guided city tour. Visit the Patwon-Ki & Salim Singh Haveli, which is about 300 years old and housed the Prime Minister of Jaisalmer State. Also visit Gadisar Lake, which once provided the entire water supply of the city. Next stop takes us to the 800 year Fort built of golden yellow sandstone by Prince Jaisal on the Trikuta Hill. Within its walls defended by 99 turrets lies the old city, which is nearly a quarter of modern day Jaisalmer. Walk thru the narrow yet fascinating by lanes before returning to hotel.

Afternoon visit the ancient city of Lodurva, once the capital of the Bhatti rulers, now deserted. See the house of Queen Moomal, the Kalpa Vriksa (tree of life) Toran Dawar, ancient temples & water tanks, before continuing to Sam Sand Dunes to enjoy sunset over the great Thar Desert. Camel rides on the dunes. Later return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 9: Jaiselmer – Osian - Khimsar.

After breakfast leave for Khimsar, en-route visiting desert hamlets and remnants of the 16 Jain & Brahmanical Hindu Temples, built between the 8th & 11th century AD in Osian, the commercial city of yore. The Jain temple of the last Thirthankar Mahavira is visit worthy. Later on arrival in Khimsar, check into hotel. Evening enjoy folklore dances. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10: Khimsar – Jodhpur - Rohet

After breakfast leave for Rohet Village en-route Sightseeing of Mahrangarh Fort- Museum with panoramic view of Jodhpur City, Jaswant Thada (Royal Cenotaphs) Umaid Bhawan Palace- Museum and continue drive to Rohet Village (50 km). On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.

  • C'MORE "The Company" accepts bookings subject to the following conditions:
  • On confirmation of the programme from the " Company " a deposit equal to 50% (fifty) of the contracted value of the tour price is required to be sent directly to the "Company's" bankers, vide swift transfer/ credit card with a confirmation copy of the same to the "Company's " headquarters, at New Delhi. The balance of the contracted value 50% (Fifty) shall be paid not less than 35 days before commencement of tour OR a deposit of 100% (Hundred) is required 35 days before commencement of tour.
  • Please note for Group Travel, Luxury Resorts or Luxury Train holidays & during Peak season (December to February) 100% (Hundred) is required minimum 90 days prior to travel date.

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Travel dates may be changed up to 35 days prior to travel without penalty. An administration charge of 10% will be charged, if a confirmed booking is changed or transferred up to 35 days before commencement of the tour. After this time all changes will be treated as cancellation and will be subject to the charges mentioned below. Cancellation charges are calculated from the day, written acceptance of confirmation along with deposit is received by the “Company” and expressed herewith as a percentage of the total tour price including surcharge as follows:

Cancellation Charges:

  • Days Prior to Arrival - up to 35 Days: 10%
  • 34 to 10: Days: 40%
  • Less than 10 Days: 65%
  • Day Tour starts: 100% (No Refund)
  • All disputes subject to Delhi Courts only.

PAYMENTS

  • We accept credit cards via PayPal and direct bank transfers. All remittances by foreign nationals should be via credit card OR via direct Bank wire - transfer from sender’s bank to recipient’s bank account in New Delhi with copy of confirmation sent to us.
